Hello friends and welcome to the blog for our first GURPS Campaign! Unless anyone has any major objections, I've opted to call this first iteration "Honorbound". I've also begun creating a wiki page (http://honorbound.wikia.com/wiki/Honorbound_Wiki) which you are free to edit.
Honorbound is a GURPS 4th Edition story set in feudal Japan in a world in which magic and myths are real. In the 16th century, Japan was a land with no strong central authority. The Ashikaga Shogunate family had two factions, each supported by major clans. Warring armies periodically devastated the capital, Kyoto. Only the eastern region of Honshu remained calm under the Hojo clan. Elsewhere, taxes rose steadily to finance the cost of the clan armies and the common peasant stuffered. With popular discontent brewing, these were dangerous times!
I'll soon be posting some character templates and after that a sample character or two. In case you haven't found this gem yet, I'll refer you to GURPS Lite. In the beginning, we'll primarily be using the Lite rules and then ease into the full rules.
